Just completed my latest proofreading job, a hefty 364 pages of The Basques by Philippe Veryrin, for the University of Nevada’s Center for Basque Studies. The classic book was originally published in 1942, and this edition marks the first English translation. Makes me feel special, yet happy to be finished — I was starting to dream about misplaced modifiers and commas.
