wordsmith – a person who works with words

Our word choices couldn’t be more important in today’s world of character limits, short attention spans and pure overabundance. As an experienced editor, I not only know the value of wisely choosing words but also make each character count with proper punctuation, perfectly placed modifiers and all the other tricks so many burgeoning writers don’t utilize.

I have experience in all types of writing (editorial, commercial, PR), copy editing, proofreading, SEO and social media. I’m known for my natural, friendly tone, yet can cater my voice to your needs.

Clients of my editing work include:
The Center for Basque Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno
Minnesota-based children’s book publisher The Child’s World
South Lake Tahoe publisher Bona Fide Books
Smith + Jones marketing/branding agency
Oakland-based GoldieBlox, who makes engineering toys for girls
