museum school sneak peek

the bruder-designed building

The Nevada Museum of Art’s E.L. Cord Museum School has a good thing going. With instruction on everything from watercolor painting to Burning Man illuminated costume-making, the class menu leaves no art unturned.

Thursday October 8 the school’s instructors are hosting an open house, 6–8pm, to discuss their upcoming classes and display and demo their work.

And why should you go?

1) it’s free! *just stepping inside the architecturally beautiful building is worth the trip alone

2) class tuition discounts! *museum members get 10% off, and non-members get member pricing

3) you’ll be inspired to take a class (or gift one, like I did for a friend’s birthday last year), and then you’ll have a new skill
