Hop over to my Etsy shop today for an exciting new listing: custom rubber stamps! Inspired by my recent commission for my friend Olivia, I decided to make these available for all! Olivia came to me a few weeks ago in need of 3 wedding gifts. I carved out stamps for each couple, then Chris [...]

I broke out the blocks again for a little carving thanks to a commission from my friend Jackie. She requested a stamp of her initials so I made a set of all three letters, then a larger “j.” Pretty fun…

I’m Mexico bound, heading to Tulum tomorrow for a friend’s wedding. Actually, I’ll be officiating the ceremony so let’s hope I pull this off! I leave you with the scrap stampings (was just testing out some ink colors here) from my last craft project: a personalized stamp for Victoria with her new last name. And [...]

The birthday gods are smiling upon me this year… Renegade Craft just announced their 2010 fair dates and will be in San Francisco on July 31 and August 1. Looks like handmade mayhem (more than 225 vendors), but since I missed this past year, I really really really wanna go. See the Renegade FLICKR page for more [...]

it’s snowing

03Jan10

Well, not here in Tahoe at the moment, but in my Etsy shop: I just posted a listing for my snowflake card set. The stamp was one of my first creations, and I used it for Christmas gift wrap decorating. Now, it can be yours in a few short clicks! Also, stay tuned for the January [...]

Though I was expecting the worst due to the raging snowstorm that blew in yesterday, there were plenty of folks who braved the snow to support local vendors. I had a variety of customers, but the couple who bought a 20-pack of my cactuses for [...]

My craft fair debut is approaching, and I’ve come a long way with my block-printed creations… can’t wait to reveal them in full on Saturday (hint: they’ll have some holiday fixins)! Just to remind you, here are the details: Holiday Arts and Fine Crafts Gathering at Lengua Viva (10070 Frates Lane, behind Ace Hardware, in [...]

Yep, I’m pretty obsessed with Etsy (note button to your right), and always dream of one day making the time to attend an Etsy Lab craft session. This week’s lab is so close to home I just have to share it with you: San Francisco’s Museum of Craft and Folk Art is hosting a quick [...]
